Why institutions are being shaken
There is a basic principle laid down in creation. It will only function in its purpose when rightly and relationally aligned with its Creator and source of Life and Purpose – the triune God of love. He is the true substance that upholds all things. By His Word all things are held together. Apart from this we will only experience brokenness. Relationship demands a connection. Without it is broken. God himself is not an institution, as much as we may like to think He is. Faithfulness doesn’t imply institution – it implies living faithfulness – an ongoing reality. Institution on the other hand implies that we SET something that will be there even if life withdraws. An institution is intended to be a protection against unfaithfulness, a substitute for a living reality. So, when faithfulness disappears we like to still be able to trust in a system.
We often shape institutions around a present reality and give it a form that we expect to endure. The thing is that institutions are far too dangerous to play with as a mechanism for delivering services and their like, for instance in the public place. If we create an institution around a given reality, the moment we stop expecting the living reality, we also abandon the space in the spirit. It is like the well known house that is found empty by the demonic spirit and can enter with a strong presence of spiritual darkness. The rules and forms of the institution become a protection, but slowly the life is eroded and the institution becomes a temple for a false god. How many have tried to change well established institutions, even ambitious politicians with their hopeful promises?
We don’t understand that the warning from the tower of Babel is one every generation must heed. It is a warning against establishing institutions! They take people captive and become expressions of spiritual principalities that teach the nations their own doctrine. The bigger they are the more powerful they become. This is the reality of agreement and unity. We empower a culture – a worship – through our agreement because it is not just an act of the mind, but one of the spirit.
This is where we are today. Throughout history nations have been established and they have been filled with various institutions. As we have failed to take dominion over these in the spirit through prayer and discipleship, we now see what was intended to serve the people, slowly becoming monstrous masters. Are we blind? Why are public services all off a sudden making us subjects with demands put on us? The powers of these corporate cultures are taking people captive!
This is why God in His goodness is shaking and preparing for a deliverance of people throughout the world. We must prepare ourselves to restore the relational side of life, expecting that institutions will fail and fall. They will twist and scream like serpents and dragons, for many of them are!
Oh, that not one will perish and surrender to the spiritual powers engaged in stealing, killing and destroying! May the Spirit of God open our eyes!
Many nations, institutions and organizations will experience some form of reset. This is the principle drawn from the Year of Jubilee. Things are being restored to their original purpose.
Stateism is NOT God’s way! He let peoples, tribes, tongues and nations grow forth to express His glory – His character on display. The king (State/institution) will eventually make slaves of you. This was God’s promise to the people of Israel when they wanted a king like the other nations. When the power to make laws, execute them and judge accordingly is gathered in one or few, this is what will happen.
When institutions die, the power and grip of spiritual powers is broken. In this place we must have a remnant that knows God, His Word and His Ways, ready to lead in chaos. We shouldn’t fear it, but pray for it and welcome it. It is time to break the chains, but we need to get into the Word and learn God’s ways. He set it all in motion because He wants to be the SOURCE of all things and bless creation with LIFE.
